We all know that working in business development can be both super exciting yet exhausting. But is the relentless pressure of trying to win new business taking a toll on your health?
Back in 2019, I wrote an article for Campaign on pitching and mental health and since then the team here at The Great Pitch Company have been committed to championing better practices when it comes to mental health and pitching.
But knowing that ‘if you don’t measure it, you won’t change it’, we set out to do an annual survey of business development practices across agencies in the UK.
Each year we’ve had a fantastic response, with coverage across the trade media that has got the industry thinking about this key issue, including the IPA and ISBA launching the Pitch Positive Pledge, partly in response to our calls to improve pitching behaviours.
