Given the importance of new business to an agency’s well-being, it is surprising that when it comes to specific new business training, a third of all respondents from The Great Pitch Poll were unaware of their agency providing any.
Half of the respondents thought their new business training budget was currently not enough (43%), a figure that rose to 80% when considering the need for pitching in a Covid world.
When asked what new business training they would like to see in 2021, ‘strategy/storytelling’ was requested by 75% of respondents along with ‘pitch presentation coaching’ by 58%.
