Emotional connection wins pitches. Always has. Always will.


Yet, we now see AI claiming emotional intelligenceโ€”able to โ€œperceive, understand, and engage in a deeply human way.โ€

โ€จImpressive? Maybe. But letโ€™s not forget Dale Carnegieโ€™s century-old truth:

โ€œWe are not dealing with creatures of logicโ€ฆ but creatures of emotion.โ€

Or Maya Angelouโ€™s timeless wisdom:

โ€œPeople will forget what you saidโ€ฆ but never how you made them feel.โ€

In the rush to sound smart, thorough, or โ€œAI-enhanced,โ€ we risk losing what really moves people.โ€จโ€จ

Rehearsal, empathy, presenceโ€”thatโ€™s where humans stand out. Thatโ€™s what sparks action.

So yes, use the tools. But donโ€™t forget the soul.
